A collection from the estate of Portia Pemrod will be on display in the Uncommon Gallery. Maps, models, replicas, drawings and interactive contraptions - just a fraction of an immense and yet-uncataloged body of work by Ms. Pemrod - coalesce to suggest a long and complicated saga of interdimensional archeology.
While this display has value as a creative project, it also poses questions about storytelling, science, and reality as we understand it. Visitors are encouraged to peruse, interact with, and analyze the collection in order to develop their own conclusions on these topics.
